Sketches, drawings, print-outs, and references are greatly appreciated. This helps give me a better and clearer idea of what you want and how you want it to look on your body. If you don’t have any references, just coming in with a clear idea of what you want helps! Along with sketches, ideas, and drawings, you’ll also want to bring payment with you so you can make a deposit. The deposit will secure your appointment and go towards the total cost of your tattoo. The deposit is non-refundable, and if you miss your appointment, you will lose your deposit.
Cash only please.
I guarantee my work. This includes retouching any areas necessary to ensure the longevity of your tattoo. This doesn’t mean, however, that I do free touch-ups for an undesignated amount of time. Touch-ups done beyond a reasonable time-frame of the final healing of your tattoo are guaranteed. For work beyond that point, approximately 1 year, I am only able to offer a discounted hourly rate for touching up my work.
I try to get at least a concept sketch to you prior to the appointment with time to tailor the design before hand if necessary. It is sometimes possible that due to my usual workload that I am only able to have the design ready for the actual tattoo appointment. This makes it very important to provide me with as much of a prior description and reference materials as necessary to allow the process to be as fluid and artistic as possible. This also requires a lot of trust in that you’ve chosen the right artist for your tattoo, so choose wisely.
I am open to illustrate your concept from my own custom approach to ensure your tattoo is as unique and unlike any you may have seen prior. However, I am not interested in, nor do I specialize in strict American and Asian traditional, Celtic, Tribal, or large amounts of lettering. If these are styles you are interested in, I would be happy to direct you to artists who specifically specialize in what you’re after. I want you to have a tattoo you are happy with just as much as you do!
My portfolio will show examples of my preferred style and what you can expect from the final result. I work primarily in my own custom biomechanical/abstract and illustrative style. I am usually very open to take on other styles as well, but it is important to acknowledge that my personal style will be present in the design.
Absolutely. I enjoy doing commissioned paintings when I am available to do so. Please make sure to check out the paintings I have done in the past for reference and to familiarize yourself with my work. My general questions will be budget, size, colors, and overall feel of the piece.
Please come to your appointment alone thank you.
I do not give price quotes over the phone. Pricing is dependent on many variables such as size, location, level of detail, new or cover up, etc. I strongly suggest a consult so that we can discuss the piece and that time you will get a more specific price quote.
I definitely prefer to work almost exclusively by appointment, but I will do walk-ins if I am available to do so. However, if your tattoo requires any time consulting or drawing, then its best to make a consultation appointment beforehand.
$150/hour.
